Our client is a leading and award winning toy, gaming and learning aid company which positively influences children's growth and development through the importance of play. They are seeking to employ an Assistant Inventory Coordinator reporting directly to the Inventory Manager based in Kings Lynn.
The Assistant Inventory Coordinator will manage the inventory and the purchasing of stock, taking into consideration forecasts and lead time for deliveries into their warehouse. This role will have the responsibility to ensure that all required documentation is in order and all shipments are tracked to ensure these arrive on time.
Duties To Include
Responsible for the management and replenishment of their US and Far East sourced products
Plan for increased & decreased periods of demand throughout the year
Coordinate with our suppliers to ensure that goods and documentation are received and processed in a timely manner to meet the business demands
Coordinate with forwarders to ensure shipments are on time and any delays are communicated to colleagues and updated within our system
Setup and maintenance of product codes and associated data
Making stock adjustments within the system to mirror imagine our 3PL
Help to implement new and improved processes within the department
Liaise with the Inventory Manager to gain sufficient knowledge to assist in covering various department tasks during times of short-term absence
