​Our client in Witham are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Customs Officer. 

The successful candidate must have worked and understand the operation of an ETSF, Bonded warehouse regime.

Key duties

• Record keeping and process

• Creating T1's 

• Process CVED and CED

• Process customs entries within ASM Sequoia.

Other duties

• The role will involve heading up a small team, ensuring quality control of entries and updating any non-conformances by the operations department.

• Updating non-conformances by our operations

• Liaising with Border Force, Trading Standards and Port Health.

• Dealing with Border Force when they visit the ETSF to examine goods.

• Working with a warehouse team when goods are selected for examination and communication this within the operations team.
