Our client is a world leading company dedicated to providing personalised vet formulated cat meals, due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ a Fulfilment Manager.
For the first 3 to 4 months, you will be based and focused on Redditch (Oakland) site and after this period you will be involved in the setup of the Haverhill site and then will based at Haverhill, Suffolk.
This role is responsible for supervising and strengthening the operations within a third-party warehousing and fulfilment partner, with a focus on compliance, accuracy and scalability as volumes and complexity grow.
There are three primary aspects to the operation: inventory and supply chain management, customer order pick-packing. This role will work across both areas, focusing energy on what matters most. You will be operating in the detail but able to zoom out: one day auditing stock movements, performing investigations, walking the floors and training production teams, the next day collaborating on scaling plans and co-chairing the weekly management meeting.
You will be tasked with creating a collaborative culture with the third-party while challenging them directly when needed - without formal control over the operation, you will need to use influencing and communication skills to achieve results.
Competitive salary offered up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
