CSS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne HGV Driver for one of our clients. This role will involve working in the construction industry, collecting and delivering goods across various different locations.

We are looking for an ideal candidate to who will possess strong and safe driving skills with mechanical knowledge. As well as helping to contribute to smooth operation for the logistics services of the client. 

Working Hours

• 7am - 5pm

• Up to 50 hours per week

• Breaks are paid

Duties Include

• To safely operate a 7.5 tonne lorry in regulations and company policies

• Helping plan delivery routes efficiently 

• Making sure to maintain accurate delivery documentation and records of transported goods

• Conducting pre-journey vehicle inspections to check and report any faults or issues

• Assisting with minor mechanical faults and basic maintenance

• Making sure all health and safety and compliance is met

• Starting date - ASAP

Requirements

• Valid UK Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) HGV driving licence with a clean driving record

• Current CPC & Tacho card which will need to be valid

• Previous experience in the commercial sector is desirable within the logistics or construction industry

• Strong attention to detail

• Own transport preferred due to location and shift times
