​​Our client is a leading and prestigious agricultural manufacturing company, due to their continued growth they are seeking to employ a Plant Operator for their Ipswich site to start as soon as possible.

Working Hours

45 hours per week, usually 7:30am -17:00. Weekend working and extended hours during our busy periods will be expected.

Roles & Responsibilities

They are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and disciplined team member to assist in the operations at our Ipswich site. The objective of the role is to support the storage, blending and tanker loading activities on site. Success in the role relies on flexibility and a willingness to alter working pattens at short notice.

General Duties

• Daily safety checks & inspections, loading & discharging of road tankers

• Operating site weighbridge

• Issuing dispatch documentation

• Recording, monitoring and reporting stock levels

• Quayside Shipping operations

• Solubilising and blending of liquid fertiliser

• Routine site maintenance & housekeeping
