​Our client, a leading and successful Utility Main Contractor who specialise in the water sector are looking to recruit a Project Manager on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Produce and deliver contract programme, ensuring safe, effective and right first-time delivery of the specific contract's requirements

• Monitor the activities and performance of project

• Prepare monthly progress reports for management/client

• Record all changes to client requirements and scope of services

• Resource works appropriately

• Promote, enforce, and adhere to the company's Health & Safety Policy and Procedure

• Training and development of supervisory and operational employees

• Develop and maintain relationships with relevant client representatives

• Manage contractual issues arising with client and sub-contractors,

• Provide suitable bid support at tender stage

• Liaise with the Principal Contractor and other trades to co-ordinate work programmes

• Processing all contract Quality and H&S documentation

• Assist with all commercial aspects and monitor contract costs 

• Understanding of Engineering Principles

The candidate must have the following:

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

• CSCS

• SMSTS

• IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)

• Confined Spaces – High Risk (Desirable)

• Appointed Persons – Lifting (Desirable)

• Driving License

Salary

£60,000 - £65,000 per annum
