​Our client is a leading, successful and established manufacturer based in Thetford, due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ a Quality Manager to work with their Quality Team.

Working Hours

Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Salary

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

Duties To Include

• Manage, support & mentor all quality personnel and monitoring their ongoing performance

• To manage and coordinate activities and quality assurance controls, processes, and procedures for all PPC sites

• To ensure that the quality function operates safely & efficiently

• To engage, communicate and liaise with the board and other departments, supporting the overall business development strategies and satisfy business needs

• Investigate non-conformances, implement effective root cause & corrective actions

• Ensure full business compliance to customer, legislative (industry and statutory) & regulatory requirements

• Oversee all quality projects to ensure product performance, safety and timescale

• Provide support & assistance to the quality function

• Liaise directly with supplier & external customers where necessary

• Control the quality function’s spec across labour & consumables

• Recruit, develop and motivate a team to meet the business needs as required

• Attend planning meetings and contribute to senior management meetings

• Specifying quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers
