​CSS are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator on behalf of our client based in Colchester, Essex.

This is a temp to perm opportunity, with a permanent position available after 12 weeks for the right candidate.

Working Hours

• 7:00am – 4:30pm

• 4 days on, 4 days off

• Including weekends

We are looking for an organised and proactive individual with previous experience in supply chain, logistics, or a similar fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of outbound deliveries and supporting the day-to-day running of the supply chain operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily outbound deliveries to customers

• Manage the hire and de-hire of supply chain equipment

• Liaise with transport providers and haulage companies

• Work closely with suppliers to minimise losses and control costs

• Act as the main point of contact between logistics and other departments

• Communicate with internal teams to identify and implement process improvements

• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supply chain, logistics, or customer service role

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks

• Experience with outbound logistics and transport coordination

• Experience within FMCG, fresh produce, or food manufacturing is desirable

• Own transport is preferred due to the location and shift pattern, as public transport is limited

Pay Rate
