​Our client is a world leading company dedicated to providing personalised vet formulated cat meals, due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ a Technical Manager to work from their Haverhill site.

You will initially be based from their Park Royal, London site and then transferring to a new facility in Haverhill, Suffolk later in the year.

They are looking for an exceptional Technical Manager to hit the ground running in their cat food manufacturing site. Must have experience of chilled or frozen meat products inFMCG, with the ability to review and modify current quality manuals, systems and processes.

Duties To Include

• Implement the technical strategy on a day-to-day basis

• To be a first point of contact for factory technical personnel ensuring that sitetechnical policies and quality standards are maintained,

• Ensure that HACCP is maintained within the factory and reflects best practice at all times

• Ensure the QA department is run effectively and adequate technical resources are available

• Ensure that all areas have adequate pest control mechanisms in place to limit the threat to food safety

• Carry out trend analysis of quality issues (customer complaints and TVC counts)

• Monitor, review and communicate where necessary

Salary

Competitive salary offered up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
