​Our client is a leading design & manufacturing engineering company based in Kings Lynn, due to their continued growth, development, and expansion they are seeking to employ an experienced Works Manager to start as soon as possible.

Working Hours

Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm however, flexibility will be required

Salary

£50,000 per annum, depending on experience

Duties To Include

• Day to day running of the workshop, with assistance from shopfloor chargehand, including health & safety, equipment and plant requirements, allocation of personal to projects

• Working alongside drawing department for planning of works schedules to ensure manufacturing and installation dates are achieved

• Monitoring project progress during manufacture stage

• Preparation of method statement and RAMS for site installation project

• Organisation of external transport and hire equipment required on projects

• Ordering of material and stock management

• Up-dating of job scan on projects

• Spare parts sales, preparing quotations, ordering, and arranging delivery of goods

• Possible account management of certain clients

Experience

• Management within an engineering environment or similar

• Excellent communication both verbally and written

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic IT skills
