Who Is This Course Designed For:

This course is designed for anyone who may be at risk of exposure to legionella bacteria in the course of their working day and to help them understand the risks associated with legionella and how to prevent and control that risk.

Between 300 and 350 people die of legionnaires disease annually in the UK. Employers have legal responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and the control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002, to make sure all staff are properly trained.
