​We are recruiting for a leading and prestigious Food Service Company based in Downham Market.

Due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ a Prep Room Operative to start as soon as possible.

This is an ongoing role potentially leading to permanent for the right candidate.

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday, 7am till finish, usually between 4pm and 5pm

• Saturdays, 7am till 11am during the busy season

Duties To Include

• Preparing fresh produce to exact specifications

• Using knives and prepping machines safely and efficiently

• Accurately weighing produce for packing

• Following daily production sheets and customer requirements

• Working in a chilled environment

• Keeping prep areas clean, organised and hygienic

• Ensure that all tasks are carried out according to food safety legislation

• Comply with HACCP function of the business

• Ability to liaise effectively with managers & directors at all levels
