​CSS are actively seeking to recruit a Sortex Operator to join one of our clients growing teams based in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.

The purpose of the role is to ensure the effective and efficient running of the colour sorters within their packing hall.

The operator is in charge of the overall performance of the entire colour sorting system and responsible for the cleaning procedures during change over of products.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for complying with all health and safety rules

• Responsible for food safety

• Responsible for ensuring that all colour sorters are kept fully operational

• Adjustment of the mapping and the programmes as needed

• Responsible for keeping colour sorters super cleaned

• Responsible for inspecting colour sorting machines and reporting to engineering any components worn out

• Responsible for communicating any quality issue to the technical team

• Complying with all GMP’S within or around their area of work

• To carry out any other ad hoc duties which the business may require

• Responsible for the cleaning and washing down of lines during change overs
