​CSS Recruitment are currently looking for a Technical Manager in Halstead.

As the Technical Manager the responsibility will be ensuring food safety and quality. Maintaining compliance against all third-party standards and be critical in the role of ensuring all food safety standards of which are compliant with EU and UK regulations and legislations. 

The client has made a commitment to customers to implement a high standard for their processing site. The Technical Manager will be integral part of achieving this declaration.

Main Duties

• Address, investigate and manage customer complaints, prepare preventative actions and formal responses

• Focus on hygeine and verification of hygiene implemented

• Update and review HACCP

• Communicate with suppliers and customers to ensure product quality

• Ensure attendance and communicate through the technical team update at weekly sales meetings and production meetings

Candidate needs HACCP training.

Pay Rate

£16 - £18 per hour
